ANA Osun March Reading- Summary of how it went


ANA OSUN MARCH READING-SUMMARY OF HOW IT WENT 



On the 17th of March 2019, ANA Osun under the leadership of Mr. Muriola Awosemo hosted the only surviving son of the late Yoruba literary sage (D.O. Fagunwa), Mr. Diipo Fagunwa as Guest Writer for the month of March in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state. Mr. Diipo Fagunwa, accompanied by some of his relatives and friends gave a brilliant lecture on Good Governance and Fantasy citing and quoting from some of his late father’s works i.e Aditu Olodunmare, Ogboju Ode Ninu Igbo Irunmale, Ireke Onibudo and other texts for illustrations and as case studies. The literary event which turned out to be an avenue of readings, book sales, networking and think-tank on ways of promoting good governance in the country and literature in Osun State featured eminent and important literary personalities from the nooks and crannies of the state. Mr. Diipo Fagunwa also read from two of his late father’s works. The programme featured eminent and literary personalities from the state like Prince Femi Ademiluyi, the Pioneer Chairman of ANA Osun who is also a former National Secretary of the Association, Prof. Gbemisola Adeoti who is the current Dean of the Faculty of Art, University of Ife, Mr. Biodun Oloyede, a former state Chairman of the Chapter, Mr. Funso Babarinde, current vice chairman of the chapter, Mr. Wole Adedoyin, ANA National Publicity Secretary (South), Mr. Quadri Adelowo, Mr. Albert Afeso  to mention but few.

ANA Osun Members also availed themselves the opportunity of registering for the ongoing ANA Membership Database project which the current ANA National administration under the leadership of Mallam Denja Abdulahi has compulsory for all the state chapters of the association across the country.
