Call for entries for its poetry anthology project with the theme: Death and Resurrection

It is a poetic reflection on the decay and ineptitude that has ravaged our society in general and Imo State in particular, especially in the recent past.

The anthology shall accommodate poems that reflect on the above theme in an in-depth manner both in specific and general terms. It shall also accommodate poems that seek to set an agenda for rebirth and re-awakening in government, especially in Imo State as it marches on in its bid to rebuild the state. It is within the purview of the writer to capture for posterity the positive and negative vibrations of a particular epoch. The writer here interrogates as a historian and intervenes as a prophet.

Modalities for submission

1.      Each poet is expected to submit not more than three poems, of which not more than two may be published,

2.      All poems must be submitted at once and not in batches

3.      All entries are to be accompanied by a brief profile (not more than 100 words) of the author(s)

4.      Entries should be submitted online by e-mail: buisi08@gmail.com,

5.      Deadline for the submission of entries is October 21^st, 2019, and

6.      The anthology is expected to be published between February and March, 2020.
